Welcome to the Active 20-30 Club of Fort Wayne's newsletter! Here is a brief overview of our activities for the past 6 months.
In December 2017 we hosted over 50 children and their families from Camp Watcha-Wanna-Do. One of our favorite partner organizations, they provide fun experiences for children living with cancer. Our annual Christmas party took place at the Parkview Ice House, and featured ice skating, pizza, games, and a visit from Santa himself!
January 2018
February 2018 included the first-ever Fizz Fest in Fort Wayne, a social at Hamilton Public House, and Bowl for Kids' Sake!
March brought our biggest fundraiser event this year - After Hours Breakfast Club! I Do Crew DJs provided the ultimate 80s soundtrack, Calhoun Street Soups Salads and Spirits: the amazing breakfast buffet and drink service, and the Freemasons Hall downtown was the setting. Everyone enjoyed dancing, games and activities to raise money for the annual Kohl's Back to School Shopping Spree for Fort Wayne children.
April's philanthropic activity was purchasing supplies and assembling Birthday Bags for a local organization, Birthday Bags, Inc. The bags, filled with cake mix, frosting, decorations, toys and more are donated to children in need so they can celebrate their birthday!
There's plenty of amazing events coming up in 2018! Be sure to like us on Facebook, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, join our Meetup group and visit our website to learn more and to sign up for our email list.
