Spring sports are back at Mercy, but due to persistent rainy weather, many practices have either been moved to the gym or cancelled altogether. Many girls wait in the cafeteria, after school, for practice to begin.

Before practice begins, girls need to stretch and warm up. It’s important to warm up before doing any exercise to help avoid any injuries. Track athletes stretch their legs, before starting practice.

After practice, the girls met up with their coaches to receive feedback. At first girls met with separate coaches, before coming together as a whole group.

As soccer prepares for the new season, they look to get a head start towards another successful year. They do this by having a scrimmage during practice.

Jade Martinez watches from the sidelines as her teammates practice. Sadly, Jade was not practicing, as she suffered a stress fracture earlier on in the season.

After the scrimmage was over, the girls had some free time before the next drill. Erin Epp came to visit Jade on the sidelines.
