137 Named to Fall MAC Academic Honor Roll

A total of 137 Stevenson University student-athletes competing in seven fall sports were named to the Fall, 2017 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Academic Honor Roll. The fall honor roll encompasses the sports of men's and women's cross country, field hockey, football, men's and women's soccer and women's volleyball. -- STORY

Annie Smyth-Hammond Named MAC Defensive Player of the Week

Stevenson women's ice hockey sophomore Annie Smyth-Hammond earned her second Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Defensive Player of the Week honor announced by the league on Monday after totaled 62 saves in a 1-0-1 week. -- STORY

Keirsten MacLellan Named Women's Lacrosse Graduate Assistant

Stevenson women's lacrosse head coach Kathy Railey announced that Keirsten MacLellan will join the Mustangs coaching staff for the 2018 season, serving as the team's graduate assistant. MacLellan will begin her duties on January 22. -- STORY

Softball Begins 2018 Schedule March 3

The Stevenson University softball team opens its 2018 campaign on Saturday, March 3, when it travels to former Capital Athletic Conference foe Wesley College for a noon doubleheader. The twinbill kicks off a 40-game slate for the Mustangs. -- STORY

Cather leads mustangs in home loss to messiah

Senior Zachery Cather took second place in three events to lead the Mustangs in their 153-27 dual meet loss to visiting Messiah.

Burnett Wins Two Events in Dual Meet Loss to Messiah

The Stevenson women's swimming team dropped its home meet to MAC opponent Messiah by a score of 133-103. Junior Julianna Burnett picked up two event victories in the defeat. Burnett's first victory came in the 100-Yard Breaststroke where she clocked a 1:09.73. Burnett's other win came in the 200 Breaststroke where she touched the wall in 2:37.13.

Mustangs Qualify for ECAC's in Three Events at Coach I Open

The Stevenson men's track and field team qualified for the ECAC Indoor Championships in three events at the Coach I Open, hosted by Franklin & Marshall. Junior Kendall Belser qualified for ECAC's in the 200m dash with a time 22.83, which gave him first overall in event.

Belser, Wright Sweep MAC Weekly Track Honors

The Stevenson University men's indoor track and field team swept this week's Middle Atlantic Conference weekly honors, as junior Kendall Belser was honored as the Track Athlete of the Week for the second time this season, while freshman Dimeon Wright was named the Field Athlete of the Week. -- STORY

Ani Qualifes for ECAC's in Weight Throw, Shot Put at Coach I Open

Sophomore Danika Ani qualified for the ECAC Indoor Championships in both the weight throw and shot put at the Coach I Open, hosted by Franklin and Marshall. Ani's toss of 12.47 meters in the shot put gave her third overall in the event. In the weight throw, Ani's throw of 14.24 meters gave her fourth overall.
