LES Elementary January 8, 2021

A Note from the Principal...

Happy New Year and welcome back! We hope that everyone enjoyed their time away. Even though the holidays looked different this year, it is still a time to be thankful for what we do have. We are so thankful that we are able to be at school this year and hope that we can continue. Please continue to take care of yourselves and your families.

This is a reminder that if your child is not feeling well, please keep them at home. Our county is currently "Red" so please do your part to help keep everyone safe. Also, if your child or someone in your household gets tested and is waiting results, please keep them home until you have the results. Please contact the school with any questions.

Report Cards/ Middle of Year Assessments

Report will be going home today (Friday). Attached to the report card will be the Middle of Year Assessment Reports. These reports will show the progress your child has made so far this year. The fourth grade students will also receive the IREAD score report that they took this past fall. If you have any questions regarding the reports, please contact Amber Smith at asmith@loogootee.k12.in.us.

Our tutoring service has started. Tutoring is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays of each week, as long as we have teachers to supervise. We have 20 spots available each day. Call the elementary office with any questions.
