Guide to Logging Hours iMerit

Online Timesheets

Our online timesheet portal replaces the need to get a piece of paper signed and then posted or scanned - you submit your hours online and get them sent to be approved immediately!

We advise that your timesheets are completed and authorised prior to Wednesday at midday for the hours worked the previous week. It is advisable that your timesheet is completed as soon as possible to avoid any delays in payment should there be a query with your timesheet.

Below is our guide to completing your online timesheet >>

You enter your hours worked by clicking on the TIMESHEETS link.

You will see your current assignment with us in the PLACEMENTS section.

If you are working on more than one assignment with us, you will need to select the relevant one to set your hours against.

Click on the CREATE TIMESHEET link.

This is the view you will see if you are being paid by the hour ^^.

Start and end times can only be selected in 15 minute intervals; if entered incorrectly you will not receive your correct pay.

All these hours must be entered in decimalised format i.e. 8.75 for eight hours and 45 minutes.

If you make an error, the portal will provide you with a message explaining what needs to be modified.

Once you have entered all relevant hours, click on the SAVE TIMESHEET button.

Don’t forget the next step! To actually submit your hours, click the LOCK TIMESHEET & SUBMIT FOR APPROVAL button.

You can see the status of your submitted timesheet in the TIMESHEETS area.

At this point, the company you are working for will have received an email with a link to approve your hours.

If you are working on a daily rate, the process is the same. However, you enter your days in decimal format i.e. 0.25 for a quarter day, 0.5 for a half day, 0.75 for three quarters of a day and 1 for a full day.

Contacting Us – You can email us through the portal with any queries, or for urgent matters you can contact payroll on 023 80 626 548
