This roof project for Related Companies, a NYC developer, is located on the 50th floor of a building on East 96th Street. In order to entice people to move here they provided a beautiful roof garden wherein tenants could sunbathe, BBQ, and hang out around beautiful plants and views. This is for rental units 12-15 years ago and people were not yet keen on paying luxury apartment prices for a location close to Harlem on the far East Side of Manhattan. There are tall laminated glass guardrails all around in order to cut down on the heavy winds at the 50th floor.
