The Mayan people were an ancient civilizasation. They captured people from other tribes and useed them as slaves. Maya people were also very clever and made three complex calenders to measue time, they even made a number sequence and hyrogliphics.
They lived in jungels that are now part of counties: Mexico, Bezile, El Salvador, Guatemala and Hondras.
Mayan art:
Mayan art was mostly carved out of special stone known as: lintel. The figures they made were mostly about myths and novels.
Women wove clothes out of dyed hemp and fabric, they also wore loose blouses and long skirts. Men wore lion clothes and colourful turbans.
