Design for new patio is conceptualized and rendered for presentation

Day 1

March 15, 2015

Existing condition of the patio and site upon arrival
Clearing the existing patio and beds away to prepare the site
Site is cleared and prepared, then the bed and patio areas are measured and marked.

Day 2

March 16, 2015

Excavation of patio area: Soil lowered to depth of 7 inches.
A four inch limestone base is spread and compacted, then one inch of sand is spread on top and leveled. This leaves two inches left to account for the thickness of the stones.

Day 3

March 17, 2015

Individual stones are placed and leveled onto the sand bed in a random jigsaw fashion.

Day 4

March 18, 2015

Final level and grade is checked on each stone, then polymeric sand is swept into the stone joints.

Day 5

March 19, 2015

Water is sprayed over the entire surface to set the polymeric sand. Posts are set into the ground for seating area boxes.

Day 6

March 26, 2015

Remainder of posts are set into the ground and the first box is constructed.

Day 7

April 6, 2015

Box construction continued

Day 8

April 12, 2015

Box construction is brought nearly to completion, with minor touch ups and sanding to finish.

Day 9 & 10

April 27 & 29, 2015

Micro irrigation system is installed inside of boxes before soil and plants are installed
