Come Take a Tour of the Clubhouse at The Parke at Ocean Pines

The Parke at Ocean Pines is a stellar active adult community designed to provide a fun year-round lifestyle for independent adults aged 55 and older. Established in 2000, The Parke provides 503 modern single family homes and Villas in a variety of styles and sizes.

The Parke is located in the coastal community of Ocean Pines on the Maryland Eastern Shore and is nestled along Manklin Creek. The location is convenient to the hub-bub of busy Ocean City but is tucked away across the Isle of Wight Bay for a more quiet and serene lifestyle.

Currently The Parke Clubhouse is closed to members and visitors due to the COVID pandemic but we invite you to take this virtual tour.

The Parke Clubhouse is a showpiece of the community and traditionally is the heart of most Parke activities. With more than 11,000 square feet, there is room for social gatherings, exercise programs and the business of running The Parke. The clubhouse is private and Members/Residents have keyscan access 7 days a week, 5:30 a.m. till 11 p.m.

The Clubhouse has a professional staff on site Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.

The Clubhouse Library has a lending library of books donated by residents, computers for residents to use, comfy chairs and even a table to organize a friendly card game or put together a jig-saw puzzle.

The Clubhouse card room doubles as a meeting room where the HOA Board of Directors and supporting committees meet and manage the many activities of The Parke.

Meet up with new friends or old friends in the Clubhouse billiards room.

The Clubhouse craft studio is stocked with basic art supplies and provides a comfortable work space. Works of art, produced by residents, are often on display in this room.

The Clubhouse grand hall is a large multi-purpose space where social events, large meetings and even exercise classes are conducted. The small kitchen can be used to reheat meals.

Recognizing that staying active is key to staying healthy, The Parke Clubhouse has an impressive fitness center.

The 55 foot indoor heated pool is available for free swim and classes. Residents may bring young guests (19 and younger) during the hours of 1 to 4 pm each day.

The hot-tub and sauna are perfect spots to relax, especially after a workout.

The men's and ladies' changing rooms are spacious and feature lockable lockers and showers.

During nice weather, the back patio is a popular spot for special events or a quiet spot to read or enjoy the gardens.

The mail pavilion is more than a place to retrieve your mail. It is also a gathering place where treats are served before most holidays.

Central Parke features lovely gardens and quiet park benches.

With its picturesque setting, The Parke has network of nature trails where you may see deer, foxes, turtles and other wildlife. And if you watch the skies, you will often see bald eagles, ospreys, herons and other birds fly over.

The crabbing pier, located off of Annapolis Court, is a great spot to catch crabs or fish. Equipped with two benches, it is also the perfect spot to watch both sunrises and sunsets.

Whether you are looking to catch fish or a glimpse of an Egret, you'll enjoy strolling the shores of the four-acre Hidden Lake.

Park benches throughout the community provide a great spot to rest or read.

The Parke is an active 55 plus adult community. It is governed by an elected five member Board of Directors supported by various committees. All Board of Directors and Committee Members are volunteer Parke residents, ensuring that the Association is for the “Residents by the Residents.”

The Parke sponsors a wide variety of clubs, classes, excursions, activities and events as well as a monthly newsletter.
