Hello Lynch Cub Families-

As we enter into May, I hope this newsletter finds you and your loved ones healthy mentally and physically. We all continue to miss our “face to face” social interaction with friends, families, classmates, students, staff and teachers. Although, I hope you are all finding ways to focus on the positives. For example:

  • Time spent with family.
  • Time to start or complete individual and family projects
  • Time to organize belongings and surroundings
  • Time to write positive letters to send to others
  • Time to create works of art
  • Time to sing
  • Time to laugh
  • Time to dance
  • Time to go outside and enjoy nature
  • Time to exercise: ride a bike, scooter, skip, walk, run, hike, play sports, trampoline…
  • Time to increase technology skills (virtual learning and personal communication and research)

In the midst of finding positive outlets please remember to keep a daily routine. A regular schedule provides a sense of control, predictability, calm and well-being. Practice good daily hygiene which should include bathing, washing your hands, brushing your teeth. Eat a balanced diet, get enough sleep and exercise regularly to develop a strong immune system to fight off illness.

These are some ideas based on what has been working well for me during these social isolation days. Please remember that if you have any questions or concerns, I am here to do my best to answer them. I can be reached via email or cell phone at 541-977-6919.

Stay Well,

Nurse Debbie
