Caroline’s Gold award was one of her most challenging, and most creative. The family of baby Ethan had requested he be photographed inside an egg, to symbolise that he was born in the year of the Rooster. Ignoring the age old advice to ‘never work with children or animals’ she was able to do just that, combining the delightful image of a baby inside an egg, and a couple of rather surprised chickens, to create this humorous artwork. This print was awarded GOLD and also achieved Highest Scoring Print in the Newborn Category.

More Gorgeous Awarded IMages

The 5 little ducks image was a labour of love, using gorgeous, real 3 day old ducks, generously lent by the local animal farm to create a beautiful illustrative portrait. The duck on the babies bottom is absolutely real and depicts that very famous line of "over the hill and far away" with the mummy duck watching over sleepily.

NICU is obviously a very real part of Tracey's other life. Sharing that long journey safely into a long awaited mothers arms is the inspiration behind this print. There is a serenity in home that is a stark contrast to the medical world of the NICU.

Tracey’s third award image is of a little girl called Sadie, playing on the humour of the cleaning baby. Tracey's style is incredibly vintage inspired, and this image plays homage to the vintage rusty signs you would see on the front of a 1920's shoe shiner. The image creatively pushes the realm of traditional newborn photography to an artistic and fun showcase that takes the newborn category to a new level in the awards arena.
