On Friday, May 4, the Frank H. Dotterweich College of Engineering held its annual Senior Design Conference in the Engineering Complex at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.

The Senior Design Conference serves as the comprehensive capstone project for all engineering seniors. The conference highlights their work through various oral presentations and visual displays.

The Student Government Association at A&M-Kingsville celebrated the end of the semester with their 2018 Gala on Wednesday, May 2. Members received awards for their dedication to the organization and to the university.

Star Wars Day:

The Force was strong at Javelina Nation on Friday, May the Fourth (Star Wars Day).

Stress Free Zone:

On Wednesday, May 2, students were welcome to attend a Stress Free Zone in the Pavilion.

TO ALL CANDIDATES FOR SPRING 2018 GRADUATION:

General Plan. The Spring 2018 Commencement exercises will be held in the Steinke Physical Education Center on Friday, May 18, 2018. There will be three ceremonies 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Seating will be reserved for degree candidates and faculty; seating of all guests, however, will be on an unreserved, first-come, first-serve basis. Online Industrial Engineering Program Ranked among the Best:

Texas A&M University-Kingsville is home to one of the best master’s-level online engineering programs in the nation, according to the Best College Reviews web site.

The site ranked the online A&M-Kingsville Master of Science in Industrial Engineering program ninth in the nation among the Best Master’s Degree Programs in Engineering Online for 2018.

Best College Reviews ranked using a point system that took into account tuition costs, U.S. News and World Report recognition, the program’s customization options and a Wow factor—that is, unique features of the program.
