Liberty Soda Ban Unhealthy effects of soda

Soda contains harmful acidic chemicals and an excessive amount of sugar.

The amount of sugar in soda takes up a majority, if not all, of the recommended daily intake.

Soda causes tooth decay.

Soda is linked to obesity, which can lead to chronic diseases such as diabetes.

Soda also causes high blood pressure.

Anxiety and depression are common side effects of soda consumption.

Soda is not the only option.

By ceasing to sell soda on its campus, Liberty can prevent these added risks.
