Masamune By LORENZO cÀrdenas

Edward Bulwer-Lytton once said “ The pen is mighty than the sword.” I was building the bot because it was a fun way to put building and writing together. 10 minutes was enough to write about a paragraph explaining the bot. While 20 minutes would be used building onto your bot. If you were working alone you would have more time. Most of the time would probably be spent bickering about the design or just wasting your time talking. I worked alone saving me that precious time. After a couple days I figured that working in the classroom is not going to work. So I took the project home. I chose the name because when I coming up with ideas I remembered a weapon also named Masamune so I just used that. The Masamune is the best bot because it is durable, not what anyone would expect, and hard to take down.

The Masamune is the best bot because it is durable. Fabric has been know to stay in place after it has been stabbed with a knife. If you used metal, it might work to protect against some weak things. But if it gets a hole, it would be weak because they would see that hole and start beating down on that. With fabric, as many people know, it would either not go in, or it would take it, but not show the hole. The Masamune can also take a fallen beating if metal were to fall, it would bend or split. The fabric can take a beating. It would only weather in time of continuous use. The Masamune by a landslide is the most durable bot in the class.

he Masamune is the only bot that no one would expect to win. A lot of civilizations have won wars by being underestimated. Being underestimated works in a lot of fights. When you think of a weapon that can wear down metal, you think of something big and bulky, but something small can do the job just as well. This basically happened in WW2. Japan got cocky over the “Wide Eyes“ but then got devastated by a weapon that of mass destruction that the world has never seen before. Things like this have won wars and made countries. Ninjas used to walk in the footsteps of the first so that people would only think one ninja is going towards them. The Masamune is the only bot that no one would expect to win.

The Masamune is one of the only bots that are hard to take down. The Masamune being made of fabric is very hardy against blades. It also can not be smashed by hammers and other blunt weapons. The only weakness would be fire but fire wasn't allowed in this tournament. I knew that this was a good choice. The bots design was sort of based off a vintage diving suit. Vintage diving suits were made to withstand pressure a lot of pressure. That pressure thing sort of correlates to the bot itself it can’t be crushed. The Masamune is the most hardy bot in the entire class.

The Masamune is the best bot because it is enduring, unexpected, and hardy. The Masamune is the very best bot in the class because it is resistant.Clearly the best The Masamune is the best bot because it is unexpected. By a long shot the Masamune is the best bot because it is hardy. Edward Bulwer-Lytton once said “ The pen is mighty than the sword.” He is correct because sometime the best things don't look like you think they should.
