Create engaging pieces of writing with purpose for an audience. Use the Writing Process to draft, critique, revise and edit polished writing for your intended readers.


Teach your students to capture beautiful images to use in your publication. Use the S.L.F.I.E. Method to capture great digital photos with whatever cameras you have. You can also take photos of artwork, maker projects, sculptures, etc. and include them in your publication.


Use design software like LucidPress to create a layout for your publication. You will be able to create both print and digital versions of your book or magazine project. There are dozens of Templates to help you make a professional looking layout of your students' writing, photography and art.


Print your publication professionally using an online publisher like Blurb. You can also use a local printer to make beautiful copies publications of books and magazines for your audience. Create digital PDF copies to share for free with your students' families, too.
