Mollie's Baby Shower 05.03.17

A few weeks ago I headed over the border to Wales on my journey to the ancient village of Raglan in Monmouthshire. It was a glorious and beautiful Spring Sunday...

I was told to head for the village hall next to the church, for Mollie's Baby Shower celebration. The hall turned out to be the original Victorian church school, with high vaulted ceilings and beautiful large windows, which allowed the whole room to be bathed in bright spring sunshine...

Lots of brilliantly thought out baby keepsake's, such as: Hot Air Balloon fingerprint guestbook, books for the baby and cleverly designed advice cards for Mum and Dad, which would all add to the memory of the day...

The cakes.... well beautiful cakes!

This was everything you would expect from an English Afternoon Tea with homemade elderflower and raspberry lemonade, good strong cups of tea in fine bone china and chilled Champagne to toast the Mother to be...

This truly was a great celebration for family and friends... and as one friend said above.... here's to "the best adventure ever!!!"
