"Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations." Hi, I'm Penelope. This is personally a quote I live by because it helps keep me going. Whenever I'm down, or I want to give up because something is to hard, this quote comes to mind. It inspires me to get on my feet and move forward.
A song I enjoy listening to is "Perfect" by Pink. This song always reminds me that I'm perfect, with lyrics like: "Pretty pretty please/ don't you ever, ever feel/ like you're less than/ less than perfect."
Alright, time to tell you guys a little bit about myself. I'm fourteen years old. I have blonde hair and blue eyes. I live with my father, who's name is Earl. I attend Reardan High School. I'm a bulimic, and I'm not proud of it...anymore. I used to be, which, thinking about it, sounds silly now. I'm the most popular girl in freshmen year. I met Arnold Spirit this year, and the first thing he did to me was lie to me. He said his name was Junior at first. Arnold and I started dating when he found out about my bulimia and I started crying on his shoulder.
Okay, so it's been a couple of days since this has happened, but I've been to busy to tell you guys. Okay, so Arnold, my kind of boyfriend...took me to the dance! We danced and talked and laughed, and it was the most wonderful night of my life. We weren't able to get a picture at the photo booth, but that didn't matter. One picture couldn't describe the memories that were made that night. After the dance, we went to Denny's with all of my friends. I was having a great time until Arnold went to the bathroom and Roger followed. I'm a very emotional person who overthinks a lot, so of course the best things didn't come to mind when he went after Arnold. When he came back, he was by himself. He told me that he might have thought that Arnold was poor. I thought about it for some time, and it all started to make sense. I mean, he didn't seem to care that we didn't have a picture, and he never seemed to have any spare change, or any cash. I asked him if he was, and I half expected him to lie. I honestly thought he was going to say no. If he had, I would have dug the truth. He didn't lie, though. I was happy he told the truth, even if it was sad. I cried for him the night. It was amazing night, either way...:) :)
Some things I love:
- I love dancing and hanging out with my friends
- I love to eat sweets
- I love cats
- I love gum
- I love being a freshmen (I don't know why)
- I love hanging out with Arnold
- And most of all, I love being happy in general.
