Odysseus By. Asia vang

The Trojan war occurred over a span of 10 years, starting when Queen Helen of Sparta was abducted by Prince Paris. It was the Kingdom of Troy vs Mycenaean Greece, and on what seemed to be a night of victory for the Trojans the Greeks ambushed them from a wooden horse.

The participants that held a special place in this war was: Queen Hellen, Achilles, Odysseus, Ajax, Nester, and Menelaus. However; in this presentation we'll be focused on Odysseus which led the Greeks in on the Trojans from the wooden horse.

The epic "Odyssey" written by Homer was specifically about Odysseus and his 10 year struggle going back to Greece after the Trojan War. It featured the abduction of Helen, the sack of Troy, and the Trojan horse.

There's not much known about the author of the "Odyssey", Homer, only that he wrote the "Iliad" and the "Odyssey". He is predicted to have been born sometime between the 12th and 8th century BC.
