NC State's Golden Boys A closer look at the Pack's five national titles from the 2018 ncaa championships

The NC State men's swimming & diving team earned a fourth-place finish at the 2018 NCAA Championships while also winning a program-best five NCAA Championships at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center in Minneapolis from Mar. 21-24. Scroll down for a closer look at each one.

800 Freestyle Relay

The Wolfpack opened the meet by defending its title in the 800 freestyle relay. The team of Andreas Vazaios, Jacob Molacek, Justin Ress and Ryan Held broke the NCAA, U.S. Open, ACC and school records with a time of 6:05.31 seconds to get the meet off to a strong start for NC State.

Coleman Stewart 100 Backstroke

Coleman Stewart won the Pack's first individual swimming title since Cullen Jones won the 50 freestyle in 2006 by taking first in the 100 backstroke with a time of 44.58.

Along with it being the Pack's first individual swimming title since 2006, it was the first individual title won under head coach Braden Holloway

Anton Ipsen 1,650 Freestyle

Years of hard work for Anton Ipsen paid off as he ended his career with the Wolfpack the best way possible; taking the title in the 1,650 freestyle.

His time of 14:24.43 seconds broke the school and ACC records.

Andreas Vazaios 200 butterfly

Andreas Vazaios added a second National Championship to his resume as he took first-place in the 200 butterfly.

His time of 1:38.60 seconds broke the school and ACC records while also making Andreas the first man in the ACC to go under 1:40.00.

400 Freestyle Relay

NC State won the meet's final event as Ryan Held, Justin Ress, Jacob Molacek and Coleman Stewart finished first in the 400 freestyle relay.

Their time of 2:44.31 seconds was the fastest time in history as it broke the school, NCAA, American and U.S. Open records.
