Mahatma Gandhi

Mahatma Gandi was known for leadership of Indian independence and non -vieolent protest. He was born October 2nd 1869 and he died at the age of 78 January 30 1948.

Mahatma Gandhi was The hero of Indian independence.

Mahatma Gandhi started his non- violent protest in the 1930's and didn't gain independence until August 15 -1947.

He was born in Porbandar, India then moved to South Africa for accepting a job as a lawyer. He returned to India to lead a independence movement.

Mahatma Gandhi did this because the India country wanted independence from the British.

Mahatma Gandhi projected this protest by non-violent passive resistance to the British. He influences Dr Martin Luther King Jr.
