Week Three Spring term a

Our first three weeks back to school in lockdown have been a steep learning curve. We have all worked hard to blend the learning taking place at home and in the classroom. It has meant everyone has had to be very patient. We have settled into this new way of learning now and we are keeping very busy.

Our class reader this half term is Charlie and the Chocolate factory. The children are really enjoying the story. Our work in English over the last two weeks has been based on the book. We have written a character description of Augustus Gloop, designed information posters all about where chocolate comes from and written a list of questions to ask the factory worker who found Verruca Salt's tickets, as if we were a journalist.
We had a fab PE lesson with Mr Breheny this week. We got fit while having fun! We pretended to be monsters practising scaring people, made our bodies move like all different kinds of animals and finished off learning the Macarena dance! Loads of fun!
🤩 Our stars this week! 🤩
