St. Peter Principal's Weekly Newsletter January 30th

Registration for current families was last week.

Evites from FACTS were emailed last week. If you plan on returning to St. Peter for the 2019-2020 school year and have not registered, please contact Karen Rogers at krogers@stpetercov.org or 985-892-1831, extension 2. We will be accepting new families after February 1st.

For the safety of all of our students, please DO NOT drop off students at the middle school building. This is not a car line, and the City of Covington has not approved this to be a car line. Please use our car lines, and let your middle school students walk to their building.

It's Catholic Schools Week!

Mr. Jack Bedell, author and father, shared his knowledge on the writing process, symbolism, and the meaning of poems to the 4th grade students who are studying poetry in Mrs. Schaefer's ELA class.
Mrs. Aucoin's Key Cottage friends had a pajama and pizza party to celebrate the letter P!
Mr. Chip's 7th grade wood-working class is finishing up their step stools they have been working on this semester.
Thank you to Coach Phil Williams for speaking to our Dads' Club, and thank you to Meribo for supporting our Dads' Club Meeting on Monday night. Our dads enjoyed good food and fellowship. Our next Dads' Club meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 25th at 7:00 pm.
Our 7th grade students recently attended the "Garden" play at Ursuline Academy. "Garden" is a musical play that was inspired by the writings of St. John Paul II. Mr. Brian Butler, producer of the musical, came to St. Peter earlier this week to discuss the play.
