This week, many students across the Middle and Upper Schools got involved with activities in the Davies library at lunchtimes, including Book Swap, the Big Book quiz, the Movie Stills quiz, creating origami bookmarks and many more! Author Matt Dickinson came in on Monday to speak to Years 5-8 about his experiences on the Himalayas and the books he has written based on them. He even signed many copies of his books for students who had ordered them. In the Drama studio, lots of students dressed as characters from texts such as Peter Pan and A Midsummer Night's Dream- some just enjoyed playing around with the props! Each afternoon, in tutor time, tutors read sections of a short story to their groups, which both tutors and students seemed to really enjoy. Ms Welsh
