NEW TO MARKET

PUMA 'DERBY FEVER' £180 & £210

Ahead of Chelsea vs Arsenal on 4th Feb, Puma have released their evo-touch in blue (Chelsea) for Fabrigas and their evo-speed in red (Arsenal) for Bellerin to wear.

ADIDAS BLUE BLAST PACK

Featuring a splash of blue and hints of pink, the Blue Blast Pack takes its design cues from race cars and their unmatched speed and acceleration.

ADIDAS COPA GLORO £80

Adidas have combined elements of their Copa and Gloro silos for this Pro-Direct exclusive.

UNDERARMOUR CLUTCHFIT FORCE 3.0

One directional textured upper gives this boot an old-school Adidas Predator feel.

RECENT PERFORMANCE

THE GLITCH

Last month we provided you with marketing and tech-talk info on the 'The Glitch'. Since then we have been able to attain a pair which we have sent to WHQ.

In comparison to other Elite level boots the Glitch is under-performing which is probably why they have adopted a F.O.T led strategy and do not have any of their lead athletes in them.

ADIDAS ACE 17.1 PRIMEKNIT

Consumers called this boot out as having a good shape and being pleasing to the eye which is why it sold relatively well. In reality the upper was stiff and in general it was way off the mark regarding performance.

Recent consumers have said that they are disappointed with the Ace and stated that they have lost trust in it and won't be buying it again!

PUMA EVO-POWER VIGOR

We decided to dig a bit deeper with this boot in particular as it received a lot of praise during the early stages of it's release.

Summary: Out-of-the-box this is a very good boot but performance decreases rapidly. This boots best attribute is the internal foam pods which work well to prevent sock-boot movement. There is a pair at WHQ if you wish to see them.

FOOTBALL CULTURE

AMOUR LDN

AMOUR LDN is a relatively small brand at the moment but is gathering momentum within the world of football, worn by Premier League and grass roots players alike.

PAUSE FOR THOUGHT...

Nike SB SOCK-LINERS

Nike SB have introduced a substantial amount of foam cushioning to their performance shoes via contoured sock-liners. Would this technology prove beneficial in our IC football shoes?

ADIDAS ULTRA-BOOST TRANSFERABLE TECHNOLOGY

Adidas opted to take over the sole plate of one of their American football cleats, although a thin layer of Boost is kept in the sockliner and midsole, just like on the Ace 17+ PureControl.

SUCCESS STORY

TAMMY ABRAHAM - NIKE SPONSORED ATHLETE AND PRODUCT TESTER

Chelsea's on loan striker has become the highest scoring teenager in THE Championship scoring 16 goals for Bristol City so far this season.
