The Experiences of Todd Hamit

ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Massillon, Ohio where I graduated 12th in my class from Massillon Washington High School with a 4.96 gpa.
After high school I went on to further my education at The University of Findlay. I am currently a senior Finance major and Marketing minor and will be graduating in Spring 2017.

JOB EXPERIANCES

I accepted a part time Co-Op with Cooper Tires internal audit department during the fall semester of my senior year at The University of Findlay. This job allows me to gain excellent time management skills while having 18 credit hours at the same time as this Co-Op. I have became very familiar with SAP during this time as well.
I was able to gain great knowledge through my employment at the University as a student research assistant. I was a part of a three person group where we performed tasks brought up to us from the University. I was able to become very familiar with excel through the regressions I ran to come up with statistics to be able to draw a conclusion on that specific question or problem.
While working at the Findlay Country Club I was involved with miscellaneous outside tasks to keep the club presentable for the members. Performing these tasks show that I am flexible and able to learn new tasks quickly.
I was a service assistant at Texas Roadhouse where I communicated with customers to help satisfy their needs and create a presentable environment to allow for a positive atmosphere.
I was a seasonal employee at Aqua Ohio where I worked both independently and with others on various jobs. This job shows that I am a good team player.

Organizations / Community Service

Criminal Justice Club - I first came to college as a forensic science major so with this club we would have guest speakers come in that were in this field to inform us on what they do and give us advice.

Investment Club - As a group we work together to discuss current events in the finance world and we also invest in different stocks and commodities.

Oiler Experience Week - I provided help to a local nursing home by making it a more positive living space for the residents.

Freshman Move In Day - I helped move in all the new freshman and was able to talk to some of them to make them feel more comfortable with their transition.

Future Goal

In the future I want to move out west somewhere preferably Colorado and obtain a job along the lines of finance.
