Amplifying Research Impact:

"Altmetric attention score and citation counts measure different aspects of scholarship where one concerns with the dissemination of research outputs through online social media; others refer to how scientists use these research outputs as documented in their outputs. Together both the evaluation measures help to determine the overall research productivity of researchers or faculty working in a specific field of the domain."
