Winston Churchill

Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill was born on November 30, 1874. He was born in the town of Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire. This was his Grandfathers house. His mother was Jennie Jerome. Churchill was brought up by his nanny Mrs. Everest. Churchill and his younger brother Jack where sent of to boarding schools. These boarding schools where located in the town of Ascot and Brighton. Churchill was a rebellious child. In 1892 Churchill won the public schools fencing match. He was 17 when he won this match. His academic future wouldn`t turn out that good. So his parents signed him up for the Royal Army. Churchill`s father died at age 45 before Churchill could prove himself to his father. In 1895 Churchill became a cavalry officer. In 1895 through 1900 Churchill sought to get himself transferred to the most dangerous places.
