Volunteering at Restored Hope Valya krumbach

Every Tuesday my mother teaches at Restored Hope downtown Omaha. Restored Hope is a home that helps women recover from difficult situations and bad life choices.
This specific Tuesday was during the Easter season and so my mom decided to have the women invite their children into the room as well.
Children had the opportunity to role dough around a marshmallow and then place it in sugar. This then went into the oven and came out representing the empty tomb because the marshmallow had melted.
The night ended with sharing the story of Jesus dying and resurrecting.
