Today Mali is one of the poorest countries in the world, although it has a rich history.
These are Kola nuts that were used to supply the caravans along with fish, ebony, gold, ivory, iron, palm oils, salt, and wood.
Timbuktu was a central part of Mali's history.
This is called the Grand Mosque. This is one of the most famous places of Islamic worship.

The best way to fight Islamophobia is through knowledge. We can do this through learning more about Mali's history.
