Angel's Goals Project English 2 | Period 3

Semester Goal:

"Nothing ever comes to one, that is worth having, except as a result of hard work." -Booker T. Washington

My goal by the end of the semester is to pass all my classes with no overall grade lower than a 90%. I will complete this goal through the use of studying and reviewing material, as well as taking advantage of the ability to retest assignments I am not completely satisfied with. I will ask questions as well to clarify any material I may be unsure about.

English Goal:

"The road to success is not easy to navigate, but with hard work, drive and passion, it's possible to achieve the American dream." -Tommy Hilfiger

My goal for the remainder of English 1-2 is to complete all assignments given with no grade lower than an 85%. I plan on achieving this by dedicating myself to my studies and reviewing material once-more even when I have it memorized. I also plan to become an active class member in my own way and strive to accept nothing less of myself than the best that I can do.

High School Goal:

"Success isn't always about greatness. It's about consistency. Consistent hard work leads to success. Greatness will come." Dwayne Johnson

My goal for high school is to excel on the football team and to have an overall GPA of 3.8 or above. I will complete this by completing different physical and academic drills as to push my own limit to what I can take. My semester and English goals will also help me succeed in this.

After High School Goal:

"Infuse your life with action. Don't wait for it to happen. Make it happen. Make your own future. Make your own hope. Make your own love. And whatever your beliefs, honor your creator, not by passively waiting for grace to come down from upon high, but by doing what you can to make grace happen... yourself, right now, right down here on Earth." -Bradley Whitford

My goal for after high school is to attend college at Arizona State University and work towards a degree that I find valuable in a field I wish to excel in. Another goal is to also play for their football team, The Sun Devils. I will complete this goal by attaining all prerequisites I am needed to attain in high school, strengthening myself academically in all aspects. I will dedicate myself to my own sport, working hard both on and off the field to set myself part from other individuals and achieve what I wish.

Personal Growth Goal:

“Passion is what makes life interesting, what ignites our soul, fuels our love and carries our friendships, stimulates our intellect, and pushes our limits... A passion for life is contagious and uplifting. Passion cuts both ways... Those that make you feel on top of the world are equally able to turn it upside down... In my life I want to create passion in my own life and with those I care for. I want to feel, experience and live every emotion. I will suffer through the bad for the heights of the good.” -Pat Tillman

My goal for personal growth is to push myself to a limit others refuse to put themselves through, and accomplish things people believe to be impossible. My goal is to also excel among my peers levels and be looked up to as an individual, almost as a role model or an example of who others strive to be the way I look up to my personal role models. To get here, I will need to surpass and maintain my previous goals listed and carry out my plans of action. I will need to set my own path and maybe even go against the will or beliefs of others to get there. I will need to keep going when those around me choose to quit, no matter how easy or hard that is to do.
