Promise for Power God's Promises

2 Peter 1:3-4 - "His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires."

God's promise is this:

He has given you divine power for EVERYTHING you need for life and godliness.

Has he left anything out?

Why don't we always see this power working in our lives?

His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness

through our knowledge of him

2 Peter 1:3

The greater our knowledge of God, the greater our experience of his power at work in our lives. Experiential knowledge of God leads to the release of his power in our lives.
How do we gain experiential knowledge of God?
2 Peter 1:4 - "He has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires."

Knowing and using God's great and precious promises is the pathway to knowing God.

Do you know God's promises? It's time to find God's promises, study them, meditate on them and memorize them. When you use his promises actively in your life, you will begin to know God and his power in amazing ways.
