Go Kart Project David olin

Problem Statement: Our groups objective is too build and test a drill powered go-kart. Our groups go-kart will be tested on 3 areas speed, control, and distance. We have until the end of the year to finish the project and a constraint of 1 sheet 3/4 in. plywood, $25, and a 18V Drill. Everything else is handled by the group.

Research:

(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBnVoQnT_6w&t=2s). This is a strong and stable way to connect the wheels and the steering system so we can turn safely.
(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xk5KfLwXGnk). This picture shows the steering system we will use. We are going to use the strings connected to the pegs and the wheel to control our turning.

Design:

This is a rough sketch showing a little bit of what we want the cart to look like.
This sketch is a lot more detailed it shows more parts and we have the main measurements of the project so that the rider can fit in the go kart.
