The first full week of spring arrived to a quiet campus.
Bulbs planted by our kindergarteners were in full bloom...
...and cabbages planted by third graders were growing by leaps and bounds...
...but sidewalks and classrooms were empty and still.
However, life at Virtual TRS (or VTRS as some students are calling it) was filled with action and excitement.
Ms. Garriga, accompanied by her family, got her students moving with one of their favorite songs.
Teachers conducted morning meetings, shared lots of lessons, and even conducted experiments!
While students completed assignments that helped them continue to grow as readers, writers, and mathematicians.
Children shared milestones, like losing a tooth or riding a new bike...
...and they shared new accomplishments and discoveries (way to go completing that puzzle!)
Classes met virtually with their teachers and classmates, sometimes to socialize and have lunch together and sometimes to discuss a project or assignment.
Thank you to faculty, parents, and children for ensuring The Raleigh School Way continues through VTRS. We will see you all (virtually) tomorrow!
