Stonewall Jackson by:Mattie By:Mattie Ledford

Stonewall Jackson, a brave man who fought in the Civil War.

He "Stood like a still wall"

Stonewall is one of my dads favorite people. He was a strong leader, and had great leadership.

"He's standing there like a stone wall!"

One of his many statues

Stonewall Jackson was really named Thomas, but, earned the nickname "Stonewall"

Stonewall Jackson was accidentally shot by one of his men. We remember him today as a courageous man.

In loving memory of Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson
