What is Bruin Athletic Marketing?

Bruin Athletic Marketing (BAM) is a student volunteer organization that works directly with Belmont’s Athletic Department. The organization provides students with game day experience and the opportunity to participate in marketing/promotions discussions and networking sessions.

What are the job responsibilities of a BAM member?

  • Work a minimum of five (5) events each semester to maintain good standing
  • Represent Belmont athletics at home sporting evenings, special campus activities, and community events
  • Promote upcoming Bruin sporting events via social media with provided assets and content
  • Assist in distribution of event information on campus (resident halls, Greek houses, academic buildings, etc.)
  • Provide support for set-up/break-down and promotional execution at all assigned home sporting events and/or campus/community events
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends and over academic breaks (i.e. Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year’s, and Spring Break)

What are the qualifications to becoming a BAM member?

  • Must be enrolled as a Belmont student in good academic standing
  • Commitment to BAM and the Belmont Athletic Marketing department from August-May
  • Attend all assigned events
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills
  • Positive/self-starter attitude
  • Interest in working and general knowledge of sports and Belmont Athletics
  • Ability to work in a time-sensitive, team-oriented environment
  • Commitment and dedication to complete the assigned tasks with a strong work ethic
