What a lovely first week back we had! The children settled back into school life really quickly. There were lots of tired hands around the classroom because so many of the children have had a very long rest from writing. However, Tommy’s handwriting was rather impressive! Possibly even neater than mine.

We did some work on place value in Maths. Some of the children worked in pairs to match pictures of dienes equipment to numbers.

We also did some investigate work with cuisinaire. The children really enjoyed it.

Not many to share from last week - week 2 will be better represented with photos. In other news though, the class are loving our class reader “Knights & Bikes’.
