Pearl Bath Bombs Written by:Wezley Wright

Pearl Bath Bombs is a company that makes hand made vegan and cruelty free bath bombs that have a little surprise on the inside. This surprise is fun and can be very rewarding to the costumer. Inside the bath bomb is a little container called a "pearl" that holds a ring, these rings retail around 10-30 dollars. However, along with this ring comes a code that the costumer can redeem online for a chance to win a ring that is worth up to 5000 dollars.

“We make bath bombs with a twist. Instead of just your normal bath bomb, ours reveal a little plastic pearl once it’s done fizzing and inside of the pearl you’ll find a beautiful ring!”

Tessa Medlock is a 27-year-old entrepreneur from Oakville Ontario. She started her business from the creative idea her fiancé had. “The idea behind it actually came from my fiancé. One day I came home and was exhausted from a long day and ran a bath. I had used a bath bomb and found a ring at the end and he proposed to me. I fell absolutely in love. I told all of my friends and family about it and they loved the idea too so I decided to launch Pearl bath bombs.”

Medlock at first began to advertise her product on her Facebook page and within 24 hours the video had around 3 million views and counting. In addition, her Facebook page has over 200,000 likes.

Since starting the company Medlock has appeared on shows such as Dragons den, and has been featured in online news publications such as Buzz Feed and Elite Daily. With the rapid expansion of her company and the ever growing fan base, Medlock has started to expand her little pearl surprises to things such as Pokemon toys, charm bracelets, and candles.

"Another thing that makes use unique is that we make all our bath bombs by hand and we us all natural ingredients and our company has never done animal testing".

Medlock is very happy with the progress her company has made and is thrilled by how quickly it has grown. However while the company is expanding at a rapid rate she is very set on remaining true to her roots with hand made bath bombs that are vegan and are never animal tested. To her, protecting nature and the environment are just as important as expanding the company.

"I hope all women love their rings and love their bath bomb"
