Christian Zwingel (Chile) – Voice and Guitar. Born in Santiago, Christian Zwingel began his journey into music with guitar lessons at the age of ten. Soon after that he discovered the Brazilian music… love at first sight. At the age of 18, he was already playing guitar and the harmonica and singing in around the country. After getting his degree as a sound engineer in 2001 he decided to move on and left his home country towards Brazil.. After getting really into the roots of Brazilian music by playing with different local musician in Rio, Natal and Manaus, he got a very nice offer to join the Brazilian Combo, "Bossamba Trio" in Leipzig, Germany with amazing local success. He has worked as session guitarist, recording engineer and music teacher in different countries like USA, Holland, Germany, Barbados, Argentina, Spain, Brazil, & the Czech Republic
Robin Hevness MA (UK) – Sax. Having performed throughout Europe in exciting live projects, Robin's more recent activities have been involved with creating modern fusions of traditional and contemporary folk music such as with his group, Aistaguca - a blend of Central European folk music and contemporary beats and blending Bossa Nova with the groove of Blue Note. Before meeting up with Christian, Guillermo and John to create his current group, Blue Brazil. Robin is currently a lecturer/teacher in music and continues to be interested in world music, ethnomusicology and and its place within contemporary culture.
Alex Magni. (Brazil) - Percussion. Professional Brazilian drummer & percussionist, instructor and music producer, is now living and acting in UK. He graduated in Musicology after his young musical conservatory training and several musical studies, courses and workshop attendance, providing to him the acquisition of a vast knowledge in drums rhythms and percussion instruments, as well as technical and musical skills. On Brazil, has worked with numerous bands in the south of the country, doing many performances, recordings and teachings. With that he gained the support of MEINL, the German brand of percussion instruments and Bosphorus cymbals.
