Photosynthesis is when a plant uses sunlight to make food from carbon dioxide and water.


Respiration it's when living animals, and microorganism and generate their own energy. Basically, it's how cells produce the energy they need to function. In cellular respiration, cells use oxygen to break down glucose and store its energy in molecules of ATP.

Light Energyy

Light energy is defined as how nature moves energy at a rapid rate.


Water is two hydrogen and one oxygen atom.

Carbon Dioxide

Carbon dioxide is made up of one carbon atom and two oxygen atoms.


Any of the minute pores in the epidermis of the leaf or stem of a plant, forming a slit of variable width that allows movement of gases in and out of the intercellular spaces.


Chloroplasts is where photosynthesis takes place.


The Chlorophyll is responsible for the absorption of light to provide energy for photosynthesis


Glucose is the simple sugar that is an important energy source in living organisms.


Co2 is carbon dioxide in atom form


H2O is water in atom form


C6H12O6 is the chemical formula for glucose


O2 is the chemical formula for oxygen.

Stored Energy/ATP

Stored energy is potential energy for any living organisms.
