Nurses have a lot of tasks during the day or even at night. Some of the activities nurses do throughout their working hours are; perform physical exams and health histories, provide health promotion, counseling, and education, administer medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions, interpret patient information and make critical decisions about needed actions, coordinate care, direct and supervise care delivered, research in support of improved practice. Nurses have a busy work schedule.

Work hours: 5-8 hour days, 4-10 hour days, or 3-12 hour days. Nurses even have to work holidays and weekends.

Nurses salaries are amazing. They make $93, 443 a year.

Nurses working areas include: acute care, outpatient care, and specialty clinics. They work with other nurses and doctors.

Disadvantages are staffing, inter-professional relationships, patient satisfaction, job hazards, job safety, overtime, advances in technology, and certification. Advantages are can save a life, flexible schedules, ability to travel, stay in shape, variety, benefits, security, rarely bored, and good pay.

Nurses save lives of children and make a difference in their lives.

Finally, education is a big deal with nursing. Nurses become a RN and can further their education by getting a bachelor's degree, gain experience, and get a state license and certification.
