Virtual Tech Day Professional learning on your terms

When Tech Days were offered once a week on multiple topics teacher feedback indicated a feeling of overload and guilt. Attending all the offered sessions overloaded a teacher's ability to keep up with the new tools and planning period time lost was significant. Otherwise, missing sessions left teachers feeling guilty for not pursuing opportunities that could lead to better teaching. When Tech Days were offered sparsely teacher feedback indicated there is a lacking of opportunities to keep up with trends in education and chance to see new tools to engage students.

Thus.... Virtual Tech Day!

Let me introduce the latest strategy to give teachers more professional learning options while avoiding the rigidity of planning period Tech Day sessions. EdPuzzle, Formative, Google Classroom, and other interactive tools will be used for my Tech Day professional learning opportunities. Take advantage of learning on the timing of your choice. I'll minimize the number of trainings that occupy your planning period. Instead, you can grow on the time and place of your choosing.
