Monkton Park Newsletter Friday 20th December 2019

We are so proud of the our pupils this term. As well as the day to day work the children have taken part in many Christmas activities. It has included everything from Festive Reading to Christmas Dinner, Carol singing at Seymour House to festive films. They have performed in 3 plays. Our youngest pupils started the month with their wonderful Nativity play "Whoops a Daisy Angel", this was followed by KS1 performing their play "Lights Camel Action" brilliantly. The term culminated in KS2 magnificently performing their play "Santa and the Beanstalk at the Neeld Hall. Thank you to all of the parents who have supported the children by providing costumes and watching the performances. We hope you enjoyed them as much as we did! Merry Christmas to you all and a Happy New Year!

Carol Singing at Seymour House

On Thursday some of our school choir visited the residents of Seymour House. The children entertained the ladies and gentlemen with a selection of carols and songs. The residents then presented the children with a handmade wreath to bring back to school.

"Your students were all a model standard for your school I think you must be very proud of them, some of them even came forward to have individual chats with our residents and wish them a merry Christmas." Well done to everyone involved.
