VR Room Virtual and augmented reality

VR Room (Virtual Reality)

After receiving a virtual tour of the Baylor campus, one senior led the charge to develop his own version at All Saints. Now prospective families have the ability to see our dynamic campus wherever they reside. Our innovative students provide the passion and we make sure they have the tools necessary to bring those ideas to fruition.

Whether it’s Middle Schoolers building their own computer lab or Upper School students designing and constructing a water-cooled supercomputer for the Virtual Reality Room, students are hands-on. These skills will allow them to shape their own future instead of waiting for others to lead the way.

The VR room is equipped with a water-cooled computer optimized to run the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset and touch controllers. The technology in the room was designed and built exclusively by All Saints students. The room will allow students to experiment and create innovations in the virtual and augmented reality realms. Students will be able to create and experience simulations for classes and design projects across the curriculum.
