the people of the Massachusetts colony were puritans.

they believed that Anglican church needed to be purified Influenced of Catholicism.

They believed that they should have religious freedom.

Massachusetts is known as the bay colony.

it also has the Charles river. also the Atlantic ocean borders it. also has the Connecticut river runs through it.

it extends the Appalachian mountains.

they grew corn rye and squash.

they had poor soil because of the rocks.

farming was very difficult in the winter since it was farther from the equator.
