Where to even begin...

Trees, plants, sand dunes, beach, ocean. This is perhaps one of the most famous dog parks in San Francisco.

Some days it's so windy it's like a sand storm and other days it's perfectly sunny and warm.

Let's start above ocean level, where my fur parents will sometimes bring me here just to run around without getting wet and sandy.

Hmmm...I think I went to the beach first, this time 😜

Ocean views on one side...

City views on the other

Just keep following the trail...

There are lots of things to explore, like bunkers

...And trees

Or you can just admire the views

The other good thing is that running on sand is tiring, whether you have 2 legs or 4 😃

There's beach access from this side too, but depending on weather sometimes it's closed because it gets too steep 😮

The main beach access is by the parking lot.

Get ready for some stairs!

From the top
From the bottom

But once you get down to the beach, boy oh boy,

Beach as far as I can see

Other doggies to play with

Or sometimes I just do my own thing

I'm usually ready to go home by the end

Your fur parents want to know:

  • Yes, there is parking (a huge lot)
  • Yes, this is an off-leash park
  • No, this is not a fenced enclosure
  • Yes, there are doggie (and human) water fountains (but not on the beach so you may want to bring your own water)
  • Yes, there are poop bags along the trail (not on the beach)
  • Yes, there are trash bins along the trail (not on the beach)
  • Yes, there are benches along the trail (not on the beach)
  • Yes, there are toilets (port-a-potties by the parking lot)
