Tribfest 2016 Happy 10th birthday tribfest

Tribfest prides its self on being biggest festival solely for tribute artists in the world. This year the festival celebrated its 10th anniversary, within the grounds of the Sledmere Estate, East Yorkshire, UK.

The festival is hosted over 4 nights, with music of all genres in a fun, affordable, family friendly environment. More details and tickets available on the official website.

Wingsbanned - A tribute to Wings warms up the main stage in front of the grand Sledmere House

Meanwhile in the VIP big top Paramore (or less) - Tribute to Paramore rocked out under cover.

Tribfest also gives local unsigned music talent a chance to perform. The Unsigned stage was situated by the main arena bar, and a steady flow of festival revellers popped in to hear something they might not have heard before.

New World Record at Tribfest

Tribfest will find themselves in the Guinness Book of Records for hosting the largest ever simultaneous rowing boat dance to 'Oops Upside Your Head'. The record was broken with over 600 dancers joining in, led by a crocodile.

Whitesnake UK - A tribute to Whitesnake were a popular act in the VIP big top

Adele tribute by Lareena, kept the crowds spirits high as the rain fell. What's an English festival without rain?!

Festival director and lead singer of The Beautiful Couch Ed Faulkner performs 2 of Hulls musical exports - The Housemartins and The Beautiful South. They've never missed a Tribfest since 2007!

Talk of the Town - A Tribute to The Pretenders performing in the dry Big Top

Making their Tribfest debut Bee Gees Fever wowed the audience on the Main Stage.

Making a return (and my personal favourite) was AC/DC UK. As night was falling, these guys put on a great show with the whole arena bouncing away.

Finally the headline act The Bohemians - A tribute to Queen. This tribute band has toured the world, playing all of Queens greatest hits. What a way to finish!

Thank You to the Tribfest organisers for allowing me to photograph this great local event. It was pleasing to be involved in a great festival that felt safe, rocked and was affordable which the big festivals fall on. Great work. I'll be back, but next time with my friends!
