Field Setup

Takes about 5-7 minutes to setup if done by one coach

Place ladders in pairs lining the width on each side of the field. Place blue cone on outside corner to designate the start of each of the four lines. Place a white cone at the end of the ladders.

Place three hurdles with the inside of each hurdle lined up with the white cone. The first hurdle should line up with the second coaching stick in the diagonal line and the third hurdle should line up with the far side of the purple goal.

Field Setup - Get Everyone Involved Quickly

Place three coaching sticks in a diagonal line beginning at the grey goal post in line with the blue cone. Place each coaching stick 2-3 paces apart and make sure the third is in line with the far side of the purple goal.

Add a yellow cone to each of the four corners and line it up with the hurdles and the first line of the orange goal.

At the end, each of the four triangles should look like the picture above. A blue cone should mark the beginning of each line, followed by a ladder then a white cone. The white cone should be in line with the three hurdles then a yellow cone. Three coaching sticks should be lined up diagonally going across from the blue cone to the yellow cone.

The final step is placing two Pugg nets, one on each side of the field in the middle. One should be near the side gate and one directly across it on the other side of the field.

Warmup

Warming up - Players "get loose" in the Triangles

For the warmups, the progression will begin at the blue cone, go to the white, to the yellow, then back to the blue. The warmup should be short and sweet; it should only take up around five to ten minutes of the session at maximum.

The first progression begins with knee hugs, goes into quad stretches, then into calf stretches.

The second progression begins with walking lunges followed by a lateral shuffle along both the hurdles and the coaching sticks.

The third progression begins with butt-kicks, goes into high knees, then into a crossover step.

Structured Activity

Structured Activity

For the structured activity, the students will begin at the blue cone and go through the ladder to the white cone. After the white cone, the students will go through the hurdles, around the yellow cone then through the coaching sticks and back out towards the yellow cone.
