Year 7-12 Sport
In term 3 students have enjoyed and participated in a number of COVID-19 safe sporting activities and competitive events in sport and PDHPE classes. Some of these activities include Badminton, Tennis Coaching, Indoor Soccer, Squash, Bush Walking at Nurragingy Reserve, Basketball Training, Oz Tag and Bike Riding. We have been blessed with some fantastic weather and staff and students and thoroughly enjoyed the time developing our physical wellbeing.
This term the NRL will be at Mountain View running a Rugby League workshop to develop skills, team play and overall understanding of the game. The program will run during school hours on Tuesday afternoon 1:45pm to 2:45pm for two more sessions/weeks. There will be a separate session running for Year 4-6 and one for Yr 7-12 students. Both sessions will have limited spaces available please contact Mr Jensen if you are interested in having your child participate in either of these programs. Matthew.firstname.lastname@example.org.
Year 3 Fitness
Our Year 3 Class have been learning the importance of physical exercise. The Year 3 students created and then participated in their own boot camp.
Year 8 has been studying Chemical Science this term. Getting to mix chemicals and use the bunsen burners has been the highlight of their study.
