11th Sunday After Pentecost August 16th, 2020

These are the lessons of the Eleventh Sunday after Pentecost. Throughout each of the readings we see both the consistency and magnitude of God's grace and mercy to His chosen people, those who belong to the family of faith, in spite of all our fallenness.

May we recognize the healing power of even the crumbs that fall to us from our Master's table as we meditate upon His Word.

A Reading from the Old TEstament

A Prayer

Eternal God, you are present with us throughout our lives, even when others plot to do us harm. May we learn to live together in unity, that in all we do, we may bear your command of blessed lives. Give us the faith to speak out as steadfastly as the Canaanite woman, that we may testify to the power of your holy name. Amen
