Nantucket, Massachusetts

Nantucket may be small but most certainly does not lack any charm. This island city is a National Historic Landmark District and popular seasonal destination, attracting many tourists in the summer with its pristine beaches and average temperature of 75°. Travelers flock to Nantucket every year to walk among the narrow rows of wood-paneled houses, bike out to the lighthouses that ring the island, and explore American history in various museums and galleries.

Newport, Rhode Island
